About Us
Petrola Energy is a leading exploration and production company headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, with production and development activities exclusively on the UK Continental Shelf.
We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tel Aviv stock exchange listed Delek Group Limited (TASE: DLEKG, US ADR: DGRLY), Israel’s leading integrated energy company.
History
Petrola Energy was founded in Alberta, Canada in 2004. Following our initial public offering in June 2006, our shares were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. In May 2017, Delek Group Ltd., our then-largest shareholder, acquired all our issued and to be issued common shares, and consequently in June 2017 we were delisted from the Toronto and London Stock Exchanges.
We have been an active UK offshore operator and producer since 2008, growing our portfolio of assets through both organic investment programs and acquisitions. In November 2019 we completed the acquisition of Chevron North Sea Limited, establishing Petrola as the second largest UK North Sea independent operator and fifth largest UK producer, in each case, based on production.
